Dagger Directive Steam Achievements
Fifty on the board. Twenty-five we can name. The rest are meant to surprise you.
Version 1.0 doubled the Steam achievement list. The launch post is explicit: the original 25 remain, and a new set of 25 brings the total to 50. Several of the new ones are intentionally obscured so you experiment instead of reading a spreadsheet. This wiki will name the public original set. It will not invent the hidden 1.0 titles. When you want the live list, use the Steam achievements page.
If you came here to finish the game in a weekend, you came to the wrong genre. Several of these want 100 kills of a type, or every mission on hard. Play the Walkthrough first. Chase metal second.
Campaign clears (original 25)
These are the named story beats Steam already showed before 1.0:
- Boots on the ground — start your first mission.
- Complete Training — finish the training campaign.
- Tour of Duty — complete five missions.
- Nukes in the North — complete the Bering Sea campaign.
- Drug Disruption — complete the South Pacific campaign.
- Chemical Catastrophe — complete the Eastern Europe campaign.
- Regular Army — complete all missions on normal.
- Hard Corps — complete all missions on hard.
Maps explains what those theaters do to a kit. Hard Corps is not a different campaign. It is the same doors with less forgiveness. Save more. Peek less.
Shadow Strike does not appear as a named original achievement because it did not exist yet. Some of the new 25 almost certainly watch the fourth campaign. We will not guess the title. If Steam shows a hidden card after you extract from the Gulf island, you found it honestly.
Weapon and violence counts
The original list is a museum of 100s:
- Marksman — 100 rifle kills.
- Sharpshooter — 100 sniper kills.
- Spray and Pray — 100 SMG kills.
- Sidearm Specialist — 100 pistol kills. The 1.0 M17 counts if you actually draw it.
- Diplomacy — 100 shotgun kills.
- Assassin — 100 knife kills.
- Brain Surgeon — 100 headshots.
- Longshot — a kill past 500 metres. Ballistics and a Bering fold.
- Trigger Happy — 10,000 shots fired.
These are play-style receipts, not a skill tree. You do not unlock the P90 by farming SMG kills. You already own the P90.
Destruction cards
- These Pots Are Empty — 100 crates.
- Fish in a Barrel — 100 barrels.
- Auto Corrected — 100 vehicles.
- Armored and Dangerous — 100 heavy vehicles.
- Lighten Up — 100 street lights. Useful and on-brand; Stealth still tells you not to shoot every lamp.
- Meth-od to the Madness — 100 drug piles (Pacific work).
- Cache Me If You Can — 100 weapon caches.
None of these are a reason to tour a sandbox on life one. They are a reason to replay a map you already understand.
The joke and the bruise
- Gravity Sucks — die from falling ten times. The game is already lethal. Do not farm this on purpose unless you need a laugh after Hard Corps.
The hidden 1.0 twenty-five
Official words: the new batch covers “gameplay behaviors, progression milestones, and challenge-oriented objectives,” and several are obscured “to encourage experimentation.” That is a polite way of saying this wiki will not publish a leak list. If a creator dumps the hidden names the week after launch, treat the dump as spoilers, not as homework.
Sensible 1.0 experiments that do not require a leaked title: finish Shadow Strike, call both airstrikes on a save you can delete, extract at night, host a clean co-op session, subscribe to a Workshop op. If a card pops, good. If not, you still played the game.
How not to ruin a squad night
Do not pause a four-player Shadow Strike because you need one more crate for a destruction card. Do not knife-farm in a friend’s rescue mission. Do not drop an Apache on a completionist who is one silent extract from a hidden 1.0 surprise. Play the op. The metal can wait.
Tracking
Steam’s overlay and the public stats page disagree with store badges until the cache catches up. The store sometimes still says 25 because pages are slow; the 1.0 post says 50. Believe the changelog, then refresh the stats page. This fan wiki is not a live tracker.
When Valve or the developer publishes the remaining names in the clear, we will add them here with the same caution we use for mission titles: names, not crate GPS. Until then, Getting Started is a better use of an hour than a hidden-achievement spreadsheet.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How many Dagger Directive achievements are there after 1.0?
Fifty. Twenty-five original, twenty-five added in the 1.0 Steam post. Some of the new ones are hidden.
Why does this page not list all fifty names?
The developers said several 1.0 achievements are intentionally obscured. We will not invent or leak those titles.
Is Hard Corps a separate campaign?
No. It is completing the missions on hard difficulty. Same doors, less room to peek.
Do I unlock weapons by getting achievements?
No. The armory is open from the start. Achievements are receipts, not a grind gate.
