Dagger Directive Updates Hub
What 1.0 shipped, and which older notes still change your binds.
Dagger Directive’s public life has two dates worth memorising. 3 June 2025 was Early Access. 13 August 2026 was Version 1.0. Everything on this wiki assumes the second date is on your disk. This hub is the changelog index so you do not mix a 0.9 controller note with a Global Ops trailer claim.
Read these two pages
- Version 1.0 — Shadow Strike, 54+ weapons, A-10 and Apache calls, Workshop as a finished feature, controller and Deck language, and the co-op test you should still run. The play pages are Shadow Strike and Airstrikes.
- Patch history — the useful EA beats: drones, custom maps, input fixes, AI vision, pouch chords.
If you only have time for one, read 1.0. If a bind feels cursed, read history — several patches were input-only and told you to hit default.
How we treat the store page
The Steam page still carries Early Access section headers in places. The game is released. When this wiki says “is,” it means the 1.0 build. When it says “EA added,” it means a feature that arrived before August 2026 and still exists. We will not write a future-tense promise for Workshop or co-op; both shipped.
Roadmap leftovers (deeper tutorials, Free Play spawners, more mod hooks) may still grow after 1.0. Those are future notes, not missing 1.0 features. Check official Steam news before you plan a week around a tool that is still a sentence.
What updates mean for the rest of the wiki
- New rails land on Weapon ranks and Role builds.
- New gadgets land on Gear and the loadout planner.
- New ground lands on the Walkthrough and the mission planner.
- Input notes land on Controls.
- Networking notes land on Co-op.
If a patch contradicts a guide, the patch wins. Come back here, then grep your muscle memory.
Why a fan wiki keeps a changelog
Because operators argue from old clips. A 2025 video that says “Workshop is coming” is a time capsule. A 2026 video that shows the M32 is current. The Review page judges the finished product; this hub keeps the dates straight so the review does not fight a ghost build.
When MicroProse or Arcane Alpacas post the next numbered note, it will start a new section on Patch history. Until then, play the 1.0 you already own.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
When did Dagger Directive leave Early Access?
13 August 2026. Version 1.0 is the full Steam release this wiki writes against.
Is Workshop still a future feature?
No. Custom maps and weapons are part of the 1.0 build. See the Workshop guide to subscribe.
Where do I find input-only bugfixes?
On the Patch history page. Several EA notes were bind resets, zoom, and controller menu fixes.
